My favorite them party is ';Come as you favorite nude Pilgrim party.'; I think that would be good for you. It is cheap (no pun intended), effective, but I do not know what the typical dances were at that time. Good luck.

I think you should allow them to bring their own mask, only bc they might want it to match their outfits.





That or maybe a few days before the party, you and your close girlfriends can make masks together and wear them there.





I don't think the guys would mind, they might find it different. And especially if they're going with a date, because then they'll look cute together.

For the dress, I want something cut short because my legs are my best feature, but not anything above arm length because it is a school dance. I'm going to the Midnight Masquerade Even at Chapters in Gloucester and I have this masquerad mask but i'm not sure if it's too much or if i should wear it.


The mask is white around, gold in the middle with red and blue contours. Also, there's a few feathers that stick out at the top with a small gem at the beginning.


Is this too much or is it okay?

Okay go with the gold one because you already have purple shoes so now if you have the gold mask your dress is part gold from the top and then the other half is purple from the bottom and then the shoes are purple:D Mask gold top half of dress gold and bottom half of dress purple with purple shoes, sounds good to me!

Masquerade Masks?

I was wondering if anyone knew where i could get blank masquerade masks. I know they do them at Hobby craft but am unable to get there, so was wondering if there was anywhere online I could get them.





I'm looking for ones so that i can start from scratch as i doing an art project a school and need blank ones. The ones at hobby craft are a dark brown colour possibly Paper Mache.Masquerade Masks?

I love the first one, it is easy to make





all you have to do is go to your local crafts store and get a sheet of black velvet, or if they dont have that then get black felt





then make the holes





and make the designs with gold glitter glue





and for the gold border, you can get that at your crafts store too, it's like a shiny gold thin rope kind of thing, i forgot what it was called





and they also sell feathers at the craft store too





print the picture and ask people who work at the crafts store for help on finding the items

Face/Shape patterns, glue, Feathers, poster board, box cutter/scissors, and glitter/decorations.





You need to make a pattern.


Then cut it out.


Then trace it on the poster board.


Cut it out.


Trace it onto the construction paper.


Then cut it out.


Then glue the two pieces together (Construction paper and poster board).


And then DECORATE!!!

Its highschool homecoming and the theme is masquerade... should i wear a mask?

Since it is homecoming I imagine it is supposed to be a formal masquerade. This means you should be sporting which covers the eyes and maybe part of the forehead and checks. The masques are usually adorned with gems or glitter and/or painted in some fashion. They are also sometimes attached to small wooden rod (like that on a pinwheel) and held up to the face to cover it. So wear one of these. it must represent one of the following themes:

im not sure, but you can make it yourself! get a plastic plain mask, whatever shape you fancy, or cut one out, then buy tartan fabric and embellishments and spend time on it so it looks like you bought it


(you dont want to turn up looking like your wearing your five year olds craft project obviously so only do this if your good at things like that haha)
